Munnar       
Munnar  is a hill station in Kerala and in southern India. Munnar is located on the Western Ghats, situated in the Idukki districtThe name Munnar is believed to be derived from Malayalam words Munu (three) and aaru (river), referring to the town's strategic location at the confluence of the Madhurapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundaly rivers.The Munnar town is in Kannan Devan Hills ( KDH ) Village in Devikulam taluk and is the largest panchayat in the Idukki district having an area measuring nearly 557 km².The nearest major railway stations are at Ernakulam and Aluva (approximately 120 km by road). The nearest airport is Cochin International Airport  which is 140 km away.Munnar's mesmerising greenery, mountain scenery, calmness and cool refreshing air attracts honeymooners and tourists throughout the year. Munnar is at the confluence of three rivers. In Tamil, the word 'munnu' means "three" and 'aar' means "river". Hence "Munnar" is a shortened version of 'Munnu Aar'. The 3 mountain streams joining together here are Madurapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Munnar is a commercial centre with one of the world's best tea estates. There are about 30 tea plantations in and around Munnar. Among these, majority of the plantations are owned by Tata Group's Kannan Devan Tea Estate. A visit to Munnar can witness the nurturing of tea in plantation to the process of manufacturing and packing. The tea estates, hills, lakes and forests inside Munnar area exposes it's beauty. The tea plants covered Munnar hills makes the feeling of seeing a wide green carpet.

By Rail:Alwaye is the nearest railway station 130 km away from Munar, which is connected to all the major cities in India.
By Road:Munnar is accessible by road from most of the cities and town in Kerala. You can also reach Munnar form Coimbatore (248 kms. just 6 hrs away) and Madurai (165 kms just 5 hrs away) in TamilNadu. From cochin by 3.5 hrs.



Ponmudi      
Ponmudi hill station, Trivandrum is a beautiful hill station located at a distance of 61 kilometers from the city. Vagamon          
Vagamon  is a hill station located in Kottayam- Idukki border of Kerala. It has a cool climate with the temperature between 10-23°C during a summer midday. It is situated 1,100 metres above sea level.
Vagamon is a tiny plantation township in Central Travancore, Vagamon has an overtone of green. With a never-ending line of lush green hills, breathtaking ravines and meandering rivulets. By Road:It is easily accessible by road from Kottayam , Palai and Kochi.  A 2 ½ hrs drive from any of these places will take you to Vagamon and there are plenty of buses plying between Vagamon and these places. The place is located 100 km (around three hours drive) from Cochin and 64 km from Kottayam



Peerumedu            
Peerumedu is a small hill station, snuggled at an altitude of 914 m above sea level, on way to Thekkady. The famous plantation town takes its name from Peer Mohammad, a Sufi saint and close associate of the erstwhile royal family of Travancore. Clouds drop gently on the peaks that flank the verdant slopes of Peerumedu. Rich with mile upon mile of plantations falling away in precise steps.

Coffee, tea, pepper, cardamom and rubber flourish in what is the most fertile part of the Western Ghats. Broken only by spectacular waterfalls in the distance and wide open grasslands in places.

On a fairly warm day, the mercury reads between five and ten degrees celsius. Little wonder then, that the former Rajas of Travancore sought this tiny hill station out as their summer resort.
Peerumedu is 85 kms east to Kottayam (travel time: 2 hours), on the way to Thekkady. There are frequent bus services from nearby cities of Kumily and Kottayam.
Peerumedu is a tiny hill resort en route Thekkady, lying almost eighty-five km east of Kottayam. This fertile tract rising to a height of approximately 914 metres is steeped in heritage. Apart from scenic beauty, Peerumedu also is ennobled by its rich historical tradition. Peerumedu received its name from a Sufi saint Peer Mohammed.

It was formerly a summer residence of the kings of Travancore. The lushness is enhanced due to plantations like rubber, tea, coffee, pepper and cardamom. Also cascading waterfalls and open grass tracks add to the glory of the place. The cool and pleasant climate of Peerumedu makes it suitable for holidaying. Even on a summer day, the mercury approximately reads between 10 to 15 C. Otherwise temperature varies between 15 C to 30 C.

How to Reach Peerumedu:
By Rail:The nearest railway station to Peerumedu is at Kottayam, located around 85 kms away from this un-spoilt hill station of Kerala.
By Road:A number of well - maintained roads connect Peerumedu to the other major cities of Kerala as well as a number of neighboring cities which actually fall in Tamil Nadu.


Nelliyampati         
Nelliyampathy is one of the little known hill stations of South India. According to some historians, a rich civilization existed in Nelliyampathy during Tamil Sangam era. This picturesque tourist spot is located 52 km from Palakkad. Nelliyampathi is blessed with ever green forests with a number of wild animals like elephants, hill squirrels and bisons. The sprawling tea gardens, coffee, cardamom and orange plantations add beauty to this wonderful summer destination.

While driving towards Nelliyampathy, one has to negotiate a dozen hairpin bends with breathtaking views of valleys and mountains covered in a green blanket. Nelliyampathy is connected with roads from Palakkad and Coimbatore. Though there are bus services available, their frequency is very less. Hiring a car from Palakkad or Coimbatore would be an ideal solution.

Nelliyampathy consists of mountain ranges from 500 m to 1600 m providing immense opportunities for trekkers and adventure buffs. Kakatty serves as an ideal base camp with various trekking and other facilities. Nelliyampathy also provides great opportunities for hand gliding.

Nelliyampathy is the perfect location for eco tourism. Perched at a height of 1585 m above the sea level on the Western Ghats, Nelliyampathy is a beautiful place. Vellachimudi, Mayanmudi, Valiyavana and Vela Vanchan are some of the important peaks in this mountain range. Padagiri is the highest peak situated on the Nellikotta mountain ranges.

By Rail:Palakkad, about 5 km from Palakkad town.



Vythiri            
Vythiri is one of the most beautiful hill stations of Kerala located at about 100 km from Kozhikode about 1300 m above the sea level. The place is famous for its lush green sprawling plantation of coffee, tea, cardamom, pepper and rubber. The misty hills with full of lush green vegetation provide a breathtaking view to its visitors. The fresh and pristine breeze laden with the fragrance of nature soothes and refreshes your mind and soul.
The main attraction for the tourists visiting Vythiri is its unique and adventurous Tree Houses, houses built on trees above 90 ft from the ground in the tropical rainforest providing picturesque view of the valley. You can spend a long time just sitting in your lounge on the balcony, experiencing one of the most privileged views in the rainforest, especially at sunset. Here you wake up every morning to the chirping of birds and exotic smell of nature The Rope bridges hanging over streams leading to cottages offer a spectacular view to tourists.
Other major attractions at Vythiri are Edakkal caves, situated on Ambukuthi Hills about 10 kilometers from Sultan Bathery, in Wayanad district of Kerala. It has been formed due to a large split in a huge rock, and the resulting landscape represent the world's richest pictographic gallery of its kind.

Devikulam           
Devikulam, a small but very scenic hill resort of Kerala, is located at a distance of about 15 km from more famous Munnar, another exotic hill station in the region. Located amidst the lush green hills with spice and tea gardens, which appear like a velvet lawns and lovely small lakes, Devikulam offers an enchanting and momentous tour to its visitors. The pristine and cool mountain air loaded with the fragrance of cardamom and pepper refreshes your body and nerves.
The main attraction of Devikulam is the legendary Sita Devi Lake. According to legend, Sita, the holy consort of Lord Rama, came down to take a bath in the lake and ever since, the place came to be known as 'Devikulam' (the Lake of Goddess). The scenic lake is among the most favorite picnic spots in Kerala. The main characteristics of the lake are its fountain springs, which spout rejuvenating mineral water. Idukki              
Idukki is a small but very beautiful hill station of Kerala. The exotic Idukki is a landlocked region located amidst the high mountain ranges of the Western Ghats and beautifully girded by three rivers Periyar, Thalayar and Thodupuzhayar and their tributaries. Wayanad
Wayanad, a little paradise on the earth, is one of the loveliest hill stations of Kerala located in the heart of the Western Ghats (mountain ranges) at an altitude of 700-2100m above sea level.
